OCS standard rubric uses a 100-point scale. Team captains announce any event-specific tweaks at briefing.

  1. A) Stock/Survivor Classes (100 pts)
  • Authenticity/Correctness (35) – model-correct parts, finishes, decals, routing, hardware.
  • Condition/Workmanship (40) – paint/chrome quality, fit, straightness, rebuilt quality.
  • Detail/Cleanliness (15) – prep, no residue/polish in seams, spokes & fins cleaned.
  • Presentation (10) – display materials, documentation, overall impression.
  1. B) Custom/Modified Classes (100 pts)
  • Fabrication & Engineering (35) – frame mods, welds, brackets, symmetry, clearances.
  • Finish Quality (25) – paint/graphics, chrome/powder, plating, alignment.
  • Integration/Theme (25) – cohesiveness of parts, wiring/hose management, stance.
