SECTION 1: VEHICLE CATEGORIES AND CLASSIFICATIONS

Vehicles are classified based on their age, type, modifications, and originality. Judges should understand the distinctions between each category to fairly assess entries.

Common Car Show Categories:

  • Classic Cars: Vehicles over 25 years old, either restored or maintained in original condition.
  • Muscle Cars: High-performance American cars from the 1960s and 1970s.
  • Exotics & Supercars: High-end performance and luxury vehicles.
  • Hot Rods & Custom Builds: Vehicles that have been heavily modified for performance and aesthetics.
  • Trucks & Off-Road Vehicles: Includes vintage and modern pickup trucks, Jeeps, and custom off-road builds.
  • Survivor Cars: Vehicles that retain their original parts and finishes without significant restoration.
  • Electric & Hybrid Vehicles: Newer category for alternative fuel vehicles with unique judging criteria.
